My name is Ethan Rogers. I am studying computer engineering at the University of Virginia. In my free time, I love low level programming, designing cool electronics and fencing. Check out the projects I've worked on. If you have any questions or want to collaborate, feel free to reach out!
C# | Unity | Python
At Alterea Inc I worked on Agents of Influence, a game funded by the Department of Education meant to teach media literacy and critical thinking. I was part of a team using AI voice over technology to make the game playable by fully blind users. I also used Python to create development tools to automate repetitive tasks.
PCB Design | Altium
UVA Rocketry competes in the International Rocket Engineering Competition. My responsbility was to design the PCB that allowed the rocket to communicate with the ground station. This PCB used transcievers that recieved the radio signals from the rocket to display its altitude, speed and GPS cordinates.
Python | Jupyter Notebook
During the mentorship program, I worked with a JLAB physicsit to code an artificial neural network that was capable of calculating the deep inelastic scattering variables using data from the simulated Electron-Ion Collider. The code and results of this project can be found here.
